I have just downloaded the latest version (4.4 build 188) and within the properties under compression I have selected Standard Compression (Zip2 compatiable) with a password set. I ran a sample backup to a hard drive and I see the zip file there but was not prompted for any password while trying to open the file. I was able to see the contents. Is there something I am missing or is the password not setup for locking down the files that I backup? Please help.

Hi,
You were able to see the list of files inside the zip or you were able to open and see the file contents?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
After I did the backup which the program produced a zip file with all the contents that I wish to backup, I was able to right click and unzip to which the files where visable. I was wondering why I was not being prompted for a password to ensure those files where not visable after I attempted to unzip the folder.
