Hi,
You can back up to network destinations. It is good to have a backup on a different destination as your computer. In case of a computer crash, the backup will be safe in another destination.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Hi, thanks to everyone who make this forum possible.
I have an external drive which I have partitioned. One partition is for backups only.

The very first back up I did went there, but can not seem to get others there.

They seem to want to stay in the file I am backing up. What am I missing?

For example I have a file for RoboForm, I want to back that up but store in my Backup drive. It keeps putting the back up in the same folder that I am backing up.
Hope this makes sence to you. Thanks so much for your help

Hi,
As I understand you have the source and the destination set to the same folder.

In this case, please change the backup destination location.

To do that, open FBackup, go to Properties->Destination and choose the destination you want to use.

Hi,
According to the last backup log you sent us, the source and destination of your backup job are in the same location.

That is not correct.
Please follow these steps to solve the problem:

1. Open FBackup

2. Go to Backup Properties (Ctrl+P)->Destination.

3. Select another destination available

4. Press Save and run the backup.
