In the Sources window, when I click on any subfolder or file inside a subfolder the Remove button is disabled (grey'd out). Why is this?
cannot remove any items from subfolders

Hi,
Is that a backup job created using a plugin? or you manually added the files/folders in the backup sources.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
This was a regular mirror type backup job, no plugin. I added the folders in the normal manner from the Sources window. I have the same problem with all other backup jobs I am testing.
When I created the backup job I added the folder "Eudora". When I click on any of the Eudora subfolders the Remove button is deactivated. The same for any files in a subfolder. I can exclude these in subsequent backups as I have done with the first two subfolders, but I would prefer removing removing these from the Sources list via the Remove button. Is this just not allowed in FBackup?

Hi,
Things are not working like that.
If you added Eudora folder, all its files and subfolders will be added to the backup list.
You can uncheck the unwanted files and folders but you cannot remove them from the backup list.
