Hello,
I have a weird question that I was wondering if anyone here could answer. Is it possible to have FBackup run in the following manner?
1) Home PC: Mirror backup, Internal HD is source, external HD is destination.
2) Take external HD to office and work directly from it which results in new and modified files on external HD that Home PC internal HD doesn't have.
3) Bring external HD home and plug it into Home PC.
4) Would like to the run a reverse, mirror backup from external HD back to my internal HD so the new and modified files that were created at work will be present at home.
5) Repeat on a daily basis.
Thanks. :)

Hi,
Yes, you can do that.

Use the Mirror backup type without the "Create full paths" option from Backup Properties->Mirror page.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
