I have created a trial backup to see how it works and would like to delete this. All attempts at deleting these backed up files fail. I can select the files an select delete but then the explorer window does not respond.

You cannot delete some files from destination using Windows Explorer?
I don't see how that is related to FBackup.
If you have administrative permissions, you should be able to delete any file/folder.
