I was wondering how much space is saved by compressing the files in a full back up vs using a mirror. Say I am backing up 500gb. Mirror would be 500gb, what would full back up be? Is it about 50% smaller?
Also I was wondering if you can run multiple backups at one time, and if it will slow down the process or is it more prone to receiving errors and warnings?

Hi,
1. The compressed file size depends on the source file types, so I cannot tell you how large will be the resulting archive. Some files can be compressed to 2 % while others cannot be compressed at all.
2. Running multiple backups in the same time depends on your system configuration and also on the backup size, sources location and so on.

Most of them are videos, .avi. Do you know how much they will be compressed. I am trying to figure out if it is better to do a full scan to save room even though it takes longer, or if I should just do mirror because it isn't worth the extra time each time I run the back up

Hi,
The avi files are already compressed video files. You won't get a much smaller file if you compress an avi file.

In this case, we suggest you to use the Mirror backup type.
