How create backup that mirrors contents - deleted files also?

Not sure how to do the following.
Lets say I have ONE folder that contains 5 document.
If I backup this one folder to an ext. disk using the mirror option, and i THEN delete one file from the initial folder. When I do the backup it does NOT also delete this file from the backup.
Is there a way to accomplish this? I thought that mirror would mirror the contents?

Hi,
Please open Backup Properties->Mirror.

Select the "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" option and run again the backup.
