Folks,
I've looked all over the app but I can't find anywhere that tells me if the while disk is being backed up or just a partition.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
Bob

Hi,
Please note FBackup is a data file backup solution. It does not back up the OS on your computer or hard disk partitions. It will back up only the files and folders you tell it to back up.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

So... If I've chosen my whole C drive (my main one) as a folder to back up, then it skips the operating system? How about the programs, like:

~ Word, Excel, etc.

~ Media players that I've downloaded vs media players that come with an O.S.

~ Defrag programs that I've downloaded vs defrag programs that come with the O.S.
Also, if the O.S. isn't being backed up, then why is the folder on my external drive [nearly] the same size as my C drive?
Please explain.

Hi,
Even if you manage to back up the Windows folder, you won't be able to restore the OS using Backup4all.

You can back up only the setup files of those applications.

Backing up installed programs will not work if you just restore them on another computer. There are also registry files that are not backed up automatically for those programs.
