I just installed Win7 and decided to try FBackup. I'm using the "Mirror" mode. Everything seemed to go right with the first backup, but . . .
On the second backup it recopied ALL files again. It's my understanding it's supposed to skip (not recopy) unchanged files.
I know it's recopying all files because I timed how long it took to backup the first directory. It took as long the second time as the first to copy this directory, and none or almost none of the files had been changed. That can only mean it is recopying all files.
What am I missing?

Hi,
What is the backup type you used?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I figured it out. To test to see if it was only copying changed files I was stopping it before it completed and restarting it. The files copied earlier are there but apparently it doesn't realize that and recopies them. Once I let it complete it works as advertised.
