I am in the process of backing up portions of three hard drives to a 1TB drive. I have an approximate total of 100GB of video, photo and music files on these drives. The backup has been going on for eight (8) days (DAYS!) now.
I know 100 GB is a lot of data, but eight days? I expect it will be another two days before this backup is completed.
Btw, all of the source drives are 7200 rpm, two are internal drives, the other is connected by USB. The destination drive is also USB.

Hi,
The backup time should be only few hours.

Please make sure there is no read/write speed problem.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Hi,
Please try to copy a large file from source to destination using Windows Explorer.
