Properties > Mirror > Remove excluded or deleted files from backup

This command is not deleting files from destination which have been deleted in source. However, Run program action <Clear backup> is doing exactly this. Telling from FBackup Help this was not intended to be so. Could someone clarify?

Thank you

Hi,
What is the backup destination you use?
Please don't create two topics for the same problem.

I am encountering the same problem. My destination is an external USB drive (E:).
Thanks!

Hi,
Please send us the last backup log from View->Job Logs->Last backup log and also the .fkc backup catalog from View->Open Folder->Catalog Folder.

Put the files into a zip archive and send them to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Dear Tommy,
Please note the deleted files won't be removed from destination if the option to remove the files is not checked. You must check the option to "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" from Backup Properties->Mirror.
After that, when you run the backup, the deleted files will be removed from destination.

The option was checked originally, but it seems when I was viewing the folders in Windows Explorer, the view did not refresh - so it appeared that the files were still there. I ran a test just to make sure, and it seems everything is working just fine.
Thanks!

Hi,
You sent us the backup catalog and that option was not checked. I am glad that you understand how it works and you checked that option now.
