I have FBackup version 7.4 and have been using a mirror backup for a long time. Since late I have noted that the
option "Remove Excluded or Deleted Files" is not working even with it being ticked. I believe this would have happened after an update. I had this working properly before.
Now the backup keeps the old deleted folders and files instead of deleting then from the destination

What destination drive type do you use for backup destination?
What version of FBackup do you use?

FBackup version 7.4 Build 497 on Windows 10
the destination is an external drive ( usb).
this has been working perfectly before.

Please send us the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination to info[at]fbackup[dot]com
Also let us know the name and path of a source file/folder which was not removed from the backup destination.

I sent the file. I have since created a new backup job and that works as expected. However the old ones ( that were the subject of upgrades still behave the same ).

Contrary to my earlier assumption that I thought was fixed with the new backup job, it really is not so. Unfortunately the deleted files and folders still exists. There was a couple of instances that it worked ( so I thought it was all gone ), but the problem is still there.
This is now a little frustrating. This was a feature that I really wanted and was the reason for purchasing fBackup.
Have you had any luck checking
