Hi.

Is it possible to rename destination root folder (on shared external USB disk on other comp via network) after i've already made backups. The source folders doesn't change just the name of the destination root folder, where all source folders are backed up.
Thanks.

Hi,
If you change the destination path in Backup Properties, the backup will start from the beginning.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Thanks.

So if i undestand right, the backup copies all the data, not changed ones only. It can last a lot of time if I have many files to backup. I've tried to backup some files and backup (mirror type) copied all of them not only changed ones. I also changed destination in config and ini files but it didn' help, there was an error although the path was written correctly.

Does version Backup4all enables changing the name of destination folder (mirror type backup)?

Hi,
Yes, you can change the path in Backup4all as it provides multiple options.

If you want to use Backup4all, let me know and I will tell you the steps to follow in order to change the destination path without starting the backup from the beginning.

Thanks.

Is the licence for professional version for lifetime or is it time limited? Which type of Backup4all do you suggest for home use where we have more computers (workgroup, not domain)

Hi,
The license is for lifetime. The best solution would be the Professional edition as it includes all features. You can also visit the website to compare the editions.
