Well, I made a mirror backup from my document drive when I orderd a new PC.
When I was waiting on my new PC, I hooked the external hard drive to my laptop to remove some old files/ and to reorganisate the way i stored files.
But Is it safe to restore the backup now? Because I removed and added files to the mirror? So is the .fkc file still valid? Or do i just need to copy the folders trough windows explorer.
I don't want to loose information or get a corrupted backup.

Hi,
In this case, you will probably get a lot of warnings for the files not found, when restoring the backup.
You should now run a clean backup to make sure all files are in the backup catalog of FBackup.

how do you mean?
Create a new .fkc file on the external hdd? The harddisk is not big enough to store the data twice.
So what's the best way to get the files back on my pc again? Create a mirror backup and store it on the empty harddrive?

Hi,
If there is no space for a complete new backup and the current backup is altered, you can continue with the outdated destination. On restore you will get warnings for the not found files in destination.
