Hello
Is it possible to create a scripted backup for all users, I have specific folders to backup and it would make it easier for the users if they can just click a desktop icon that does the job.
Cheers
Jon

Hi,
You can create a backup job to back up in a specific folder on your network, using the %copmputername% variable in destination field.

After that you can copy this job to all computers.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Hello Admin
I have left out information for my question. The computers are backing up to a USB hard drive, each PC has a shared area, so no problem with this bit.
The problem area is backing up personal folders, that are restricted to the folder owner. The backup needs to be able to run as any user of the PC, and backup all shared and personal folders.
Please let me know if you need more info.

Hi,
You must have permissions to access those folders.

You can try using Backup4all (our commercial version) to create a separate backup job for each user and schedule it to run with the specific user password.
