I've read several posts about shadow copy issues, but still not sure what to do. I'm trying to backup my C: drive to an external drive on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. I'm using Verizon powered by McAfee fir virus and firewall protection. Some post suggests turning off the fire wall while another suggests that Windows files can't be backed up and that only data files can. Can I back up my C drive or am I trying to get FBackup to do something it's not designed to do?. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Please note FBackup was not designed for system backup, you should use it for data files backup only.
Please add all exe files (especially vscsrv files) inside Backup4all installation folder in the exceptions list of your antivirus. Do you still have the problem?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
