Under Win XP, I used Bounceback Express to backup one external drive (my working photo drive) to 2 other external drives. I've finally upgraded to Win 7 and Bounceback Express has a problem with Win 7, but the author is no longer updating the Express version and to continue using Bounceback I have to buy the commercial version.
Being the cheap SOB that I am, I'm looking to switch to FBackup, but I already have uncompressed backups created by BBE. If I set up a mirror backup using FBackup, will it recognize my existing structure and just pick up where BBE left off or will it try to create it's container and recreate the entire structure?

Hi,
That is not possible.

Please note FBackup uses its own catalog and cannot read the existing files in destination. The files will be backed up if not found in the backup catalog.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
