While updating from FBackup 4.8.284 to 4.8.285, I received error code 5 with the following file – fbaSched.exe. I received the same error code when updating from FBackup 4.8.276 to 4.8.278.

Solution - To solve this problem, go to the backup (left panel) right click, choose Properties then Scheduler followed by Active (there should be no check mark in the box – you want to inactivate the scheduler). You must also save the new settings. Exit the program. Install the new FBackup software, and now re-activate the scheduler for each backup. You have to shut off the scheduler for all backup projects, exit FBackup, install new FBackup software (I did not uninstall old software), then turn on scheduler for all backup projects.
