I tried backing up 72GB of data to a network drive. after 9 hours, only 32% had been backed up. The Network drive that is being used is set to allow best performance under policies. Is this standard, or is their a way to improve the speed?

Hi,
The backup should be faster.

Please send me the log file from View->Job Logs->Last backup log, to info[at]fbackup[dot]com to see more details about the backup.

I am also experiencing a really slow backup time. I set up a Mirror backup from one external drive to another on the same machine. Both are connected via USB. The drive contents are about 700Gb. After 24 hours, I'm only 5% complete. I'm sending the logs to the email above as suggested to the prior poster.

Hi,
How long does it take to manually copy 1 GB of data from the same source to the same destination using Windows Explorer?
