Critical Error - Crashes every time
I could not open Fbackup (latest version) at all. After uninstalling and reinstalling several times, it's still not working. Below is the window I get after waiting quite a while when trying to start the program. Can anyone explain this frustrating situation, but more importantly how to fix it. Than...

Version 7 hiccups
Hi, I installed the updated Version 7. It wiped all my backups set in the program instead of transferring them to the new update and they don't show in the "Import from Version 6" area. Are they still there somewhere as files I can import ? Also the new backup compressed (zipped) the files...

Re: Invalid Parameters message !!
Hi, Thanks for the suggestions. I couldn't find anything in the Tasks folder. I assumed that your other suggestion meant that if I renamed the folder, the program itself would make a new folder, sub-folders and relevant files in that area again when I started it. So instead of trying your suggestion...

Re: Invalid Parameters message !!
Here are the screens that show when Fbackup starts up (when it shouldn't).
Now I have deleted Fback from my startup list in hope that this may help with this issue.

Re: Invalid Parameters message !!
Hi Thanks for the suggestion. I went there and there were no settings under those folders except the empty folders for Softland and Fbackup. So I deleted both of those folders to see what will happen. Now I get a regular message (without doing any activity) popping up on my screen "The system c...

Invalid Parameters message - SOLVED
When Windows 10 boots up, as well as during normal operations throughout the day, Fbackup loads without me doing anything to start the program and displays a dialog with the error message "Invalid Parameters". There are no scheduled backups anymore because my scheduled backups continously ...

Re: Shutting down before other backups are complete
I was sure it's about a year ago but lets not get stuck on that detail. The scheduled shut-down feature has been reported by me as not functioning correctly since 2011 and this is just another variant of the backup/shut-down issue. I use 64 bit Windows 7. Hope that helps. Hopefully I will make it a ...

Re: Shutting down before other backups are complete
It's almost 12 months since I first posted that there's a problem with the "Shutdown" setting in FBackup and the problem has never been fixed once and for all. You said you found it and that you'll fix it in October last year 2014 and to date, almost 1 year later, I haven't experienced thi...

Re: Shutting down before other backups are complete
Dear Softland, Okay, you didn't say when you were going to fix the problem I posted on 3 October. Now that you have released version 4.1 build 609 in late October, since the problem has occurred, it appears the problem is not yet fixed. Thanks for your suggestion to put the shutdown action on the la...

Re: Shutting down before other backups are complete
Thanks for your quick response. It's already set on the largest backup for the shut-down feature. Unfortunately with running 6 other shorter backups at the same time, (firefox, outlook, user data) to 2 external drives they often don't all complete before the largest backup is finished. I'll just hav...
