File not available for restore (FB 8)

My backup source contains a single file from my desktop, which, according to the log is backed up OK. When I want to restore that file it does not appear, only folders are available for restore. Option to restore excluded files is activated. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Can't restore single file in v 7.4

Solved. Checked "Restore excluded and deleted files" in the restore dialog. Not clear to me why the file I was trying to restore would be "excluded" or "deleted". In any case once this option was checked the file was restored correctly. Also updated to v. 8.1.

Nag in version 5

I have been using Fbackup v. 4 for years. I recently installed v. 5 and was surprised to find nags to upgrade. Is there any way to disable these nags (short of upgrading)?

Thanks

I have FBackup v. 4.6 build 260. The only items in the Plugins folder are:
MyDocuments.xml

MyPictures.xml

OutlookExpressSources.dll

WindowsMail.xml
Sorry this is taking up so much of your time.

<r>Thanks admin that helps a lot. I have looked but have been unable to find the plugin for FBackup jobs and settings. It doesn't seem to be in my installation or on the plugin page (<URL url="http://www.backup4all.com/en/backup-plugins.html">http://www.backup4all.com/en/backup-plugins.html</URL>) f...

<t>I'm an Fbackup newbie, so please excuse any naive questions.<br/> I've spent a considerable amount of time constructing my first backup job and I don't want to have to repeat that process if something goes wrong. I would like to backup the structure of the backup job, i.e. the file and folder nam...
