If like me you have had problems with files [often new files] not being backed up that were checked off for back up, I suggest you uncheck 'Smart file scanning mode', the USN journal is bugged. As I recall it was a very unusual issue; during the backup I was only getting partial file/folder backup. Much was missing and each subsequent backup produced a random file/folder selection regardless of what I selected including empty directories. Also it was quite slow compared to 6.**

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 6\Jobs

I won't update anymore out of version 6.** to 7.**. I've had nothing but issues with v.7. V.6.** works great, no glitches and very fast!

location of the 'Sources' file for backing up...

I'd like to know the location of the 'Sources' file. This would be the file that has your selection of files and folders to be backed up. I'm not referring to your actual backup files.

Re-installed FBackup version 6.6.396...no lost files no errors runs very fast.
