My Documents plugin vs Microsoft Outlook plugin

Is it necessary to use both the My Documents plugin and the Microsoft Outlook plugin? I am using both but it appears that the PST files are backed up via both plugins. Is that accurate?

Re: My Documents vs Microsoft Outlook plugin

Hi,

Actually, no, the Outlook plugin only backs up open PST files. The Outlook plugin does not back up closed PST files.

Thanks.

Re: My Documents vs Microsoft Outlook plugin

Yes, I am aware of that. Any PST files that are closed within Outlook are not backed up via the Microsoft Outlook plugin. Can that be changed to include even closed PST files? And with the My Documents plugin I get the following warnings for PST files that are open: "Warning: Skipping file - So...

Re: FireFox plugin

Is there a way to back up the Firefox bookmarks only? If not via FBackup, can you recommend something else? Thanks.

My Documents vs Microsoft Outlook plugin

It appears that with the way the new Outlook saves PST files in the Documents\Outlook Files folder that the My Documents plugin will backup PST files. Is that necessary when also using the Microsoft Outlook plugin? Is there a reason or benefit to have both backing up PST files? Thanks.

FireFox plugin

Can you please confirm for me that when using the FireFox plugin that a complete backup of bookmarks is done? And if I ever needed to just extract from the FireFox profile the bookmarks how would I do that? Thanks.
