Is there any way to keep my existing backup job profiles where I have selected the type/sources/destination etc. Can I copy somethin...

Re: removing FB from startup - Windows 7

yes, yes, yes, I have done all of that and it disappeared from the startup list in Msconfig. But as I have explained, as soon as I open up FBackup for use, it sticks the file btray right back in there!!!! It says Taskbar notifier in the description.

So now what???

removing FB from startup - Windows 7

How do I stop FB from starting up as my bootup time needs speeding up. I have already unchecked all boxes in Options/Startup but when I boot up I see in Task Manager that a file called btray.exe"32 is starting up and delaying boot up/. How do I stop this from loading??

Thanks for any help.

Re: how to stop btray.exe

Before I got your reply I had already renamed the file to stop it starting up. However, that did not make any difference so maybe it is not btray.exe causing my problem. I have put it back and it on starting up it takes about 20,000k of processor then reduces to about 4,000kb. It is not really a pro...

how to stop btray.exe

I have noticed a process called btray.exe on startup which seems to delay things, especially access to my Yahoo mail.
What is this Fbackup 5 file - what does it do and can I remove it?? If so, how???

Thanks in advance for any advice
