Hi,
There should be only 1 .fkc catalog file for each job (in destination).
If you have two .fkc files, you can delete the oldest one.

Re: TYPE 'use adaptive buffer size' & .FKC questions
Hi, 1. The "Use adaptive buffer size" is used when you use the mirror backup type to a network destination. It will use different buffer size according to the files size, in order to get a faster copy process. 2. The .fkc file is the backup catalog used by FBackup. It does not get deleted after each...

Re: Newer file in destination - can one filter?
Hi,
FBackup is a one way backup solution.
You cannot compare the source file with the existing file in destination, as it is compared with the information stored in catalog. It is supposed the backup files in destination are not modified by other applications.

Re: Destination file different size than stored in catalog
Hi, There is no problem in FBackup to be fixed as we ask Windows for the size of the files. If the size is different, it might be the file is in use and it was modified during the backup execution. In such a case, it is recommended to run again the backup as the file will be backed up again with its...

Re: Backup from phone>usb
Hi,
You cannot back up your phone using FBackup. The phone must have a drive letter assigned by Windows.
Here is a workaround using our commercial edition Backup4all:

Re: Doesn't list drives
Hi,
How is other drive recognized by Windows?
Can you manually access that drive in File Explorer?
What version of FBackup do you use?
