The previous backup files should not be deleted UNTIL the incoming backup is complete and tested, in my opinion.

Hello, I don't think it is. I have to leave the server console logged on otherwise scheduled backups fails to run, and yes I've ticked the option to run when logged off and specified the password for the account in question. When backups do run only some of the files selected in the Sources are back...
