Re: Error message

@kuttyjoe I've stumbled across a partial explanation for the error and have been able to get around it. See here: http://www.fbackup.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8794&p=15118&sid=e4baf19f5590aa92ef8c634c2d2d1300&sid=e4baf19f5590aa92ef8c634c2d2d1300#p15118 Hope that helps G

Re: Update 7.2 causing errors

UPDATE Having fiddled with the properties of my backup, I've discovered there is a change in the way the software is operating from v 7.2. Previously I have a partition on my harddrive, which is the potion that is getting backed up by FBackup - namely the E:/ Drive. I pointed the destination folder...

Update 7.2 causing errors

Hi I updated my version of Fbackup to v 7.2 on Friday. Since then I have not been able to perform a normal backup. I keep getting an error: Backup aborted. Reason: 'E:' is not a valid integer value . I was able to create a new job and run a full mirror copy of my drive, but when I tried to re-run to...

FBackup 6.0 file verification extremely slow

Hi I upgraded to FBackup 6.0 from 5.5. The jobs pulled across without issue, but now when I run a backup of our 250 000 files it takes 30 minutes to verify the files instead of 2 or 3 minutes - as it was on v 5.5. Any pointers on how to resolve that? I have an i5 3.2GHz with 8GB Ram...so, I don't th...
