<t>I have other applications that do run apparently, they are listed in the task library.<br/> Two days ago I deleted the task manager for fb4, leaving only the fb4 scheduler. Again, nothing. Today I will try deleting the fb4 schedule and add task manager, but frankly I don't see that working as the...

<t>Well, I am buggered. The reason I even turned on the task scheduler was because the fb4 scheduler did not work on it's own. But I went and deleted the MS task scheduler and went with just the basic scheduler in fb4 and of course it does not work.<br/> I give.<br/> Clearly there is something wrong...

<t>Not sure what you're asking here. <br/> Perhaps rather than try and replicate this situation, a NEW thread/write up on exactly how YOUR Win 7 is configured would show us where we may not have something set right in Win 7 or where a possible conflict is, since you are able to work it with no probl...

<t>Ah, I must have missed that instruction. Well,. yesterday I changed it from fb4.exe to fbaSched.exe and it worked this morning. If it keeps working then that's it. If not I'll change it to fbaSchedStart.exe. Either way I think this was the last nugget in the puzzle...thank you VERY much for helpi...

<t>I think we are dialing in on this now (I HAD already changed the trigger from 'at startup' to a specific time...still nothing this morning).<br/> OK, one more question then:<br/> For the MS task scheduler, WHICH .exe file is the task scheduler supposed to point to?<br/> 1.) FBackup.exe<br/> 2.) f...

And should MS task manager be set to trigger 'at startup' if the computer is never off (but does log out user)?
Thanks.

<t>I don't know what difference there is, I changed a few parameters and it worked, but then the next 2 days, without changing anything, it didn't, again. There is only one user, admin. I believe it should be asleep when the scheduler is supposed to run (logged out of admin) but I also have the 'wak...
