Disabled all scheduled V9 backups and reinstalled V8.9 which works perfectly. I really don't see what V9 does for me so I might as well stay on V8.9.

On both of the latest two versions. Seems to me that it can't handle a really long path/file name. I have attached an example of one of the files it was hanging on.

Trying to Reconnect Mapped Drive Y: upon startup
At one time I had a backup that saved to a network drive mapped to drive Y. That drive letter is no longer used but every time I start Fbackup (V7 and now V8) I get the trying to reconnect message. How can I fix this error? Thank you.

I finally got all of my jobs working correctly by modifying the Windows task scheduler manually. Definitely a work-around.

I'm also having trouble with the Fbackup scheduler. I thought it was related to imported Fbackup 6 jobs so I deleted and recreated the jobs. Weird things are happening. Schedule a time for job1 & it might schedule job 2. Schedule a time for job1 then when I schedule a time for job2, job1's sched...

I got it working. For each job, go into properties and select scheduler. Click on refresh button then save. That's it.

I'm having the same issue. In the scheduler the last run result is "The directory name is invalid (0x8007010B)." The configuration in the scheduler seems to be identical to a newly created schedule that does run correctly. And the long alpha/numeric string in the trigger matches the file n...
