Re: error 82

Hi,

Please make sure you have the latest version of FBackup 5.2.663 and you have enough permissions to write files in destination.

Re: Fbackup not starting

@johnhidley:

You don't need to stop that process, as it is needed for FBackup to run. You need to put bservice.exe in the exceptions list of the antivirus and firewall.

Re: Updates

Hi,

What OS do you have?
The update code is in application, it is not related to the OS you use.

Re: Fbackup repeated failure with no coherent error message

Hi,

FBackup keeps only the last version of the backup, the previous one is deleted when a new backup is created. So there is no need for you to manually delete the previous backup from destination.
Do you have the same problem if you create a new backup job?

Re: Cannot create a file when that file already exists

Hi,

Please send us the complete log file and the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination to info[at]fbackup[dot]com to see what the problem is.

Re: Win 8.1 error - cannot start IPC server

Hi,

Please make sure the antivirus/firewall does not block fbackup.exe nor bservice.exe processed.
Put these processes in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall.
