Re: Error in the log file but it works fine

Hi,

The communication between the backup and the backup service seems to be with problems.
As long as you don't run other actions after backup, that will not affect you, as you say the backup was successful.

Re: Premature end of file reached

Hi, If the problem appeared during the test, I recommend you to run a manual test for that job by pressing the Test (F9) button. See if the same problem appears again. Re: Win8: Local versus Microsoft account

Hi,

Can you manually create a new task in Control Panel->Task Scheduler, to run a simple task?
If yes, please create a task manually for FBackup, does it run?

Re: Win8: Local versus Microsoft account

Hi,

If you create a scheduled task to run when no user is logged on, it should run.

Re: Win8: Local versus Microsoft account

Hi, The scheduled tasks visible for the current user account are only those created with your account. For example: if you are logged with the local account and you create tasks with the Microsoft account, you won't see them. They exists in Control Panel->Task Scheduler. As per the problem you have ...

Re: Mirror Backup

Hi, The Full backup type will back up all files every time, in a zip archive format. The Mirror backup type will copy files in the original format, without compressing them. The first back up will include all files and after that only new and modified files will be backed up. For the problem you des...
