Re: Each backup starts from scratch - PLEASE HELP
Hi,
By default, when using the Mirror backup type, only new and modified files should be added to backup.
Please send us the last backup log and also the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Re: New Version Keeps Adding Icons
Hi,
With FBackup 5 you are not allowed to move or delete the FBackup folder from the start menu.
If you delete it, when you start the application it will be recreated.

Re: Setup on Windows Server 2003 does not work
Hi,
FBackup is compatible with Windows server 2003.
Please make sure there is no firewall/antivirus that blocks FBackup setup.

Re: FBackup 5 schedule runs but does nothing
Hi,
Do you use an administrator account?
If you check the option to "Run only when user is logged on", the scheduler won't run if the computer is in sleep/hibernate mode.

Hi,
The message is not about the firewall, it is about a monitoring program running on your computer. I cannot tell you which program is that.

Hi,
As I was able to see on the internet, those skype files are also locked for antivirus programs. So there seems to be a protection of those files.
You should close Skype when backing up those files.

Re: FBackup 5 schedule runs but does nothing
Hi, First, please try to schedule that job to run when you are in front of the computer. Does it work? Second, try to schedule another application to wake up the computer and run (under the same conditions), using the Windows Scheduler from Control Panel. If both works, please compare the scheduled ...

Re: 2012 Server Fbackup warnings Destination Errors
Hi,
Please try the following: backup 1 local file to the same destination. See the results.
Then backup 1 file from the client's computer (file has to be closed, not in use) to the same NAS destination. Let us know the results.

Re: Updating FBackup
Hi, The new version of FBackup will not remove the old version, it never removed the previous version as they are different applications, you can use both applications if you want. Just installing version 5 of FBackup will not cause problems on your computer so you have to go to a service for that. ...
