Please restart FBackup and try again to start a job and pause it.

Hi, There is all locally on your computer, that is not about a server located here. There is a file bservice which process the commands (backup, restore, test, import etc) to the correct exe file. If the connection with the service is interrupted, the commands won't arrive to the desired exe file. W...

Hi,
The problem was solved by closing FBackup and renaming the "Layout.ini" file from "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 5\"

@mdawn: Please download the latest version of FBackup 5.0.242. Our developers fixed a problem regarding the shutdown. Do you still have the problem using the latest build?

If you can copy files using Windows Explorer, you should be able to backup files to LAN using FBackup too.
