Re: UGH! Mirror backup deletes backup if source drive failed
Hi, Your accusations are false as that option is not checked by default but it was checked by you. Of course the backup files in destination won't be deleted if you uncheck that option back as it was by default. The application is much complex than you consider and many other ideas were involved in ...

Re: UGH! Mirror backup deletes backup if source drive failed
Dear DahlgrenS,
The "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" is NOT enabled by default as you said. Please note we know the importance of such an option which can cause you problems if used without knowledge. The Help file also explain the role of that option.

Re: UGH! Mirror backup deletes backup if source drive failed
Hi, This is how FBackup was designed to work. It considered the missing drive was a drive you wanted to remove so the corresponding files from destination were deleted too. In our commercial application (Backup4all) there is an option to remove excluded or deleted files from destination only if the ...

Hi,
I understand there is a problem with the scheduler, is that correct?
Have you tried to recreate the scheduled tasks?
Can you run a backup manually?

Hi,
If you use that option, the path in destination will include the drive letter and all subfolders to your sources.

Re: mirror backup can't be viewed-inside with Windows Explorer?
Hi,
So there is a folder containing the backup on the destination drive?
The destination backup folder is not associated with FBackup as it can be browsed using Windows Explorer, not using a special file format.

Hi,
Did you use the Windows Scheduler or the Built-in scheduler?
Please note the Windows Scheduler has to be used if you want to run a backup when no user is logged on.

Re: Login Id not remembered
Hi,
We cannot reproduce the problem here and it is not related to our backup application.
This is a browser issue on your side and no other client reported it.

Re: Is Windows Login Required for FBackup to run
Hi,
If the last backup ran, there should be a log in View->Job Logs->Last backup log.
If it didn't run, you should create a scheduled task as you did for the other applications in order to run FBackup.
Use the parameters from a task scheduler created from FBackup.
