I think you want to import the backup jobs from v8 to v9 and continue the backups with FBackup v9, is that correct?
You can import the jobs if you go to File->Tools->Import from version 8.

If you schedule it to run under a different user account, the scheduled task won't appear in FBackup (as long as you are logged on with a different account). Please download and install FBackup 9.3.420 and run again the backup.
