I wasn't able to reproduce the problem here, it works fine even after sleep mode. Is it the only application from your computer having problems after sleep mode?

Yes, you can. Please use the Windows Scheduler option when creating a new scheduled task from Backup Properties->Scheduler page

That plugin is hardcoded in aplication. It cannot be deleted. Why do you need it?
