Hi,
In this case, you should open Backup Properties->Scheduler->Edit Properties.

In the Execute section, check the "Command line application" and "Hide window" options.

Hi,
FBackup will compare the source files with the information stored in the backup catalog, not with the manually modified files in destination. It is supposed you are not changing the files in destination manually.

Hi,
FBackup will close after a scheduled backup only if it was not running when the scheduler occurred.

In other words, only if the scheduler started FBackup, it will close after the backup is finished.

Hi,
Just connect the external drive to the new computer and open in FBackup the .fkc catalog file from destination.

That will recreate the backup job in FBackup and you can restore your backup.

Hi,
In this case, the behavior is correct. The Windows sleep command is not cancelled but postponed. When the backup is finished, we send the shutdown command to Windows, which already has the sleep command on the list and will execute it.

Hi,
FBackup keeps only the latest version of the backup.
If you want to keep multiple backup/file versions, you should consider testing our commercial edition: Backup4all.
