What is with the strange file names?

Please make sure FBackup is closed and no other fbackup.exe process is running in Task Manager. After that, try to install the new build.

If you copied the files, the creation date was different. That is why the files are backed up again.

Please send us the last backup log from View->Job Logs->Last backup log to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Also let us know the type of the files you added to sources.

Please open Backup Properties->Mirror. Make sure the "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" option is unchecked.

Please go to Tools->Options->Startup.

Under "Visualization mode" section, select "Tray" for "Scheduled startup".

It works this way only if FBackup is started by the scheduler. If the application is already running, that option is not used.
