Hi,
All the answers are "yes". Installing a new version of FBackup 4 will preserve your backup jobs, configurations and settings. You can simply continue the backups, nothing will be affected.

Hi,
If the backup is scheduled and FBackup is started by the scheduler, you have the option to automatically close it after run.

That option is in Backup Properties->Scheduler->Add->Close after run.
