Re: Backup from phone>usb
Hi,
You cannot back up your phone using FBackup. The phone must have a drive letter assigned by Windows.
Here is a workaround using our commercial edition Backup4all:

Hi,
How is other drive recognized by Windows?
Can you manually access that drive in File Explorer?
What version of FBackup do you use?

Re: FBackup 8 keeps reinstalling
Hi,
Please try to uninstall and reinstall FBackup. Do you have the same problem?
What about if you also delete the registry entries for FBackup after uninstalling it?

Re: noticed FBackup writes to SSD increasing TBW
Hi,
FBackup uses it's own backup catalog for each backup job to store information about the backed up files and their attributes.
The archive bit or any other attribute of the sources, is not changed.

Hi,
FBackup is not writing to source. How could it write to source from source?
FBackup will only copy the files from backup source to backup destination.

Re: noticed FBackup writes to SSD increasing TBW
Hi, When using the Mirror backup type, all source files are copied to destination in the original format. After that only new and modified files will be backed up. The other backup type available in FBackup is Full, which will back up all files every time, resulting in a higher TBW. You can use the ...
