To remove the Windows scheduler from a backup job, please open Backup Properties->Scheduler

Right click the task you want to delete and select Delete.

Press Save.

Now you can create a new task with the Built-in scheduler.

No, there is not too late. You can uncheck that option anytime.

You cannot change from Removable to External hard drive without losing the existing backup.

The backup jobs and settings are not deleted when you reinstall FBackup.

Doing that won't solve your problem.

With FBackup, you need to create a new backup job and back up all files again.

The merge feature is not available in FBackup, but only in Backup4all, our commercial product.

The split files are zip files and they can be open with WinZip 9.1 or later.
