Re: what does Files skipped: mean when none were excluded

Hi, No, the program's filters will not delete the files. In case you exclude some file types using filters, they will not be counted. The deleted files since the backup starts could be some temp files created in that time by other applications, browsers etc. Some are deleted by their applications wh...

Re: what does Files skipped: mean when none were excluded

Hi, The excluded files are the files that have been deleted from the source location or have been moved into another folder since the last backup execution. The skipped files are the files that should have been backed up but they were deleted since the backup started (temp files) or FBackup does not...

Re: Mirror Job isn't mirroring

Hi,

Is there any warning in the backup log?
If you manually create a test folder in sources, run the backup and then you delete it, is the folder correctly deleted from destination?

Re: Backup from NAS to NAS

Hi,

In FBackup you cannot back up from network sources.
Please try using our commercial edition: Backup4all (https://Backup4all.com), so that you can back up from one NAS to another NAS.

Re: Files were deleted in backup target directory

Hi,

Please note that after you delete the files, you need to also modify an existing source file, otherwise the backup won't run and the deletion won't be performed.
The backup is executed only if there is at least one new or modified file/folder.

Re: Scheduler problem

Hi, Using an administrator account will give you enough permissions to create scheduled tasks. A default standard account has such permissions, but your account could be limited. As I understand, you were not able to create a simple scheduled task in Control Panel, because the username and password ...

Re: Scheduler problem

Hi,

Please try to recreate the scheduled task from FBackup. Do you still have the problem?
If creating them from Control Panel, please use this command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Softland\FBackup 8\bBackup.exe" /r "job-name"

Re: Scheduler problem

@gail0279

Do you use the latest version of FBackup 8.5.272?
Do you have the same problem if you manually create a new scheduled task in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler?

Re: Scheduler problem

@wilkerson It seems something changed on your computer after you made the initial setup. That change seems to affect the directory path. Can you tell us what that change was? An OS upgrade? In Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler, please edit a task which does not work. Make sure that...
