Hi,

It seems there is some information in registry about FBackup as being installed.

Please open regedit.exe.
Search for "FBackup" and delete any entry you find.
Then try again to install FBackup.

Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot exclude hidden files with FBackup. Such an option is available only in our commercial edition: Backup4all https://www.backup4all.com.

This seems to be a Backup4all installation, instead of FBackup one.

The backup jobs, settings and configurations will be preserved if you uninstall/reinstall FBackup.

Hi,

I cannot confirm that the Windows update is the cause of the USN journal history corruption. There could be more factors involved, otherwise every user would report the same issue, which is not the case.

Hi,

Please open Backup Properties->Advanced page.
Uncheck the "Smart file scanning mode" option and press Save.
Run again the backup and let us know if you still have the problem.
