Re: Version 7.3.373

Hi,

We are not aware of such problems in version 7.3
Can you send us the .fkc catalog file for that job to info[at]fbackup[dot]com, to see what the problem is?

Hi,

Please try to rename them to shorten names and see if you can delete them.

Re: Mirror Copy missing files, not folders

Hi, The "Rotate disks" option should not appear and it was removed from FBackup, as it works only in combination with the "Use local catalogs" option disabled. FBackup does not include that feature, as it is available only in our commercial edition: Backup4all. As for the OneDriv...

Re: IPC Server - Cannot connect pipe client

Hi,

There is no need to run in Safe Mode. Please put the bservice.exe process in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall and try again to run FBackup.

Re: run CMD command after backup

Hi,

In FBackup you can run only the predefined commands you mentioned.
In our commercial version, Backup4all, you can run your own commands or batch files.

Re: Copying files from OneDrive folder

Hi, Microsoft changed the way OneDrive works. Files are no longer saved locally, unless you change a setting in the OneDrive program - "Save Space and Download Files As You Use Them". This is turned on by default. Turning it off causes OneDrive to keep a local copy, which can be backed up.

Re: full backup deletes older copies of backup

Hi,

FBackup keeps only the latest version of the backup. If you want to keep multiple backup versions, please try our commercial application: Backup4all.

Re: Mirror Copy missing files, not folders

Hi,

1. Please make sure you use the latest version of FBackup 7.2.349 as we fixed the empty folders issue.
2. In Backup Properties->Advanced page, uncheck the "Smart file scanning mode" option, press Save and run again the backup. Are all the files included in backup now?

Re: Mirror Copy missing files, not folders

Hi,

If the folders were empty, that means the files were excluded from that backup or they could not be backed up. If the files could not be backed up, a warning or error message is displayed. Have you seen such a message?
