Hi,
This is how FBackup works at the test phase. The entire backup is tested, to ensure the backup is fine.
If you want to disable the test after backup, please open Backup Properties->Advanced page and uncheck the "Test after backup" option.

Re: Vista to Windows 10
Hi,
You can run the restore using FBackup. Please install it, open the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination and the backup job will be recreated on the new computer. Then you can Restore the backup.

Hi,
I corrected that. You need to check (select) that option.

Re: Files were deleted in backup target directory
Hi,
Please send us the last backup log and the .fkc catalog file for that job to info[at]fbackup[dot]com, to see what the problem is.
Also please tell us the name and path of a file deleted while it should not have been.

@Jim Rockford
Hi,
Was the renamed (new folder name) included in the backup sources? If not, it will not be backed up.
If yes, please send us the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination and also the last backup log to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

@aegea1984
In Backup Properties->Type, was the "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" option selected?
If not, please select it and make sure there is at least one file/folder to be backed up, so the backup to run and the files in destination to be removed.

Re: Backups don't start
Hi,
Please close FBackup.exe from Task Manager and rename this folder:
"C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 7\"
Then try again to run FBackup. Do you have the same problem?

Re: backup windows user backup
Hi,
You can set up a job for each profile, but the job for each profile must be executed while that user is logged on, in order for FBackup to have the necessarily permissions to access those files.

Re: Password Protection
Hi, We create standard zip files. In each zip you can see the folder structure and file names. Only the content is encrypted. If you want to also protect the file/folder names, please use our commercial edition: Backup4all. It has an "obfuscate" option you can check and the file/folder nam...
