Re: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service

Hi,

The first problem listed is "Not enough room to write archive". The archive is created in temp folder which is on C: drive by default.
Do you have enough free disk space on C: drive?

Re: mirror not recopying files from source to destination if deleted from destination.

Dear Procky, FBackup is configured to use the "Fast Mirror" option which does only copy new and modified files over the existing backup in destination. As it is supposed the backup in destination is not manually deleted or altered, it does only update the current backup files which is fast...

Re: Backup job greyed out, cannot delete

Hi,

If the application is stuck, please close the interface, then kill the bbackup.exe process from Task Manager.
Then go to AppData folder, in Softland/FBackup 6/Jobs folder, delete the ini file(s).
After that, please open again FBackup.

In such a case, you need to create a new backup job as FBackup is using the information stored in the backup catalog to determine which files needs to be backed up. It does not look in destination every time to see the file...

Re: How to configure daily FULL backup (zip file) to OVERWRITE instead of add/delete?

Hi, The "clear backup" action will delete the existing backup version from destination and catalog. You will start with a fresh new backup every time, that is why the name will always be with 1_C.zip. It will not increment if you use this option. The old backup will be deleted right before...

Re: How to configure daily FULL backup (zip file) to OVERWRITE instead of add/delete?

Hi, You can configure FBackup to create every time the same file name: mybackup.1_C.zip In order to do that, please open Backup Properties->Advanced page. Select the "Run program or action" in the "Run action before backup" section. Please note you cannot remove "1_C" f...

Hi,

You can use it as local drive if it works this way.
