Hi,
@AnotherUser: That is correct, but if the Volume Shadow copy service is not working properly, backing open files could fail.
@fcodiaz: If Outlook is closed and FBackup still cannot back up the .pst file, can you manually copy it to another location?

Re: FBackup doesn't like folder names with DOT
Hi,
I just performed a test and FBackup will back up just fine a folder name called "test.exe".
Please send us the last backup log to info[at]fbackup[dot]com to see what the problem is.

Re: Backup only new/edited files?
Hi,
If you use the Mirror backup type, the first execution will be a complete one. After that only new and modified files will be backed up.

Re: Restore finished with errors URGENT
Hi,
The "decompression error" could indicate a problem with the RAM memory or with the temp drive location too.
Please try to extract it to another location or computer using WinZip. Do you have the same problem?

Re: How to backup ONLY open files?
Hi,
There isn't such a filter.
You can use the "Date and time modified" filter option to include in backup only files modified today or yesterday or other options.

Hi,
Please try to manually create a scheduled task for another program, from Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler.
Does it ran?
If yes, please compare it with the task created by FBackup.

Hi,
The tray application of FBackup is running in background. You can disable it from File->Options->Startup.
Uncheck the "Show tray icon" and press OK.
