I have the same issue. All the settings are correct but the schedule does not run as it did under 5.
When you check the job logs it states correctly the next time the backup will happen but it does not actually occur.

ptarka I have just uninstalled version 685 and reinstalled 663 - the backup jobs are still there but now I do not get the error message. may be worth a try - worst case you will have to define the backup jobs again but if you uninstall and reinstall without closing down your PC the backup logs may s...

I am having exactly the same issue and as a result I have not been able to back up any files since this upgrade.
There is obviously a bug with the upgrade and please issue a fix as soon as possible.
I have used fbackup for many years but may need to change if I cannot get backups to happen
