Re: add location grayed out

Hi,

It's not like that. As long as in the top of the selection box you have a backup plugin, you cannot add other files/folders to the current job.
The option has to be "Selection of files and folders"

Re: add location grayed out

Hi,

You used a backup plugin for that job.
In such a case, you cannot manually add other sources to the backup job.
You need to create a new backup job where you manually select the backup sources.

Re: Destination error (code 5). Access is denied.

Hi,

You need to select "Network drives" option in the New Backup Wizard.

In Backup Properties->Destination, mapped drives can be found under "Local Disks" drop down list.

Re: Destination error (code 5). Access is denied.

Hi,

Please try to map the network drive and use the mapped drive as backup destination, or try to manually access the network share in File Explorer, before running the backup.
Do you have the same problem?

Re: Destination error (code 5). Access is denied.

Hi,

1. Is the backup scheduled? If yes, do you have the same problem if you manually run the backup?
2. Do you have the same problem if you run FBackup as administrator?

Re: FBackup 8 Application Interface not Displaying

Hi, For the missing interface problem, please close FBackup, then go to "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 8\" and rename the Layout.ini file. Then open FBackup and it should start correctly. For the second problem, please note the backup jobs are per user. Each user can see only...
