Hi,

The HDD and RAM capacity is fine.
Please run a scandrive for errors on drive C: and create a zip archive larger than 6 GB (to test RAM).

Hi,

Yes, you can. Please install version 8 of FBackup and import the backup jobs and options from version 4.

Hi,

Decompression error indicate there could be a problem with the hard drive or the RAM memory.
Do you have enough free disk space on your C: drive? (at least 130 GB)
Can you create a zip file larger than your RAM memory size, using WinZip?

Hi,

FBackup will check and will try to connect to all available drives, no matter if they are used or not by a backup job. FBackup has to list all available drives in case you decide to create a new backup job to any available destination drive.

Hi,

Please try to uninstall FBackup from Control Panel. Do you still have the problem?
Also make sure the antivirus does not block the installation of FBackup.

Please download and install the latest version of FBackup 8.1.183.
Import the backup from version 6 and run again the backup. If you still have the problem, please send us the new log file to info[at]fbackup[dot]com
